Journalists/Writers who were brutally assassinated by those who fear their words.

Journalists / writers in India are getting murdered for speaking out the truth in public and expressing their views against big guns. The makers of media which serves as the last resort when other systems fail to deliver justice, are now themselves starved of any sort of justice.
Gowri Lankesh has not been the first journalist getting murdered for speaking out the truth. We have come up with a list including 8 most recent cases of journalists/Writers getting killed for exposing the truth.

8. Gauri Lankesh
She was shot dead for her staunch views on the right-wing politics. This yet again exposed the old worries of the Indian journalists who are now fighting for themselves.

First they came for the Communists

And I did not speak out

Because I was not a Communist

Then they came for the Socialists

And I did not speak out

Because I was not a Socialist

Then they came for the trade unionists

And I did not speak out

Because I was not a trade unionist

Then they came for the Jews

And I did not speak out

Because I was not a Jew…

Now they are after journalists and writers…

If we fail to speak out.

Then no-one will remain to speak out for us.
